BPOM Denpasar Sosialisasikan PERGUB No 1 Tahun 2020 Ke Perajin Arak Di Desa Talibeng

Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Denpasar memberikan sosialisasi Pergub No 1 Tahun 2020 Tentang Tata Kelola Minuman Fermentasi atau Destilasi Khas Bali tentang bagaimana cara membuat olahan yang baik terhadap para perajin arak yang ada di Desa Talibeng, Sidemen, Karangasem, Senin (2/3). Dalam sosialsiasi itu, BPOM meminta para perajin arak supaya membuat proses arak secara higienis dan tidak menggunakan bahan baku gula pasir.

Kepala Bidang Informasi dan Komunikasi BPOM Denpasar, Luh Putu Witatiathi, mengatakan, kalau sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan ini, merupakan tindak lajut dari Pergub No 1 Tahun 2020 Tentang Tata Kelola Minuman Fermentasi atau Destilasi Khas Bali. Kata dia, sosialsiaisyang diberikan keada para perajin arak ini terkiat higienis sanitasi atau cara pembuatan pengolahan dan pangan yang baik.

Sebab, arak itu merupakan pangan olahan. Jadi, bagaiman perajin arak ini membuat arak yang berkualitas, aman, bermutu dan layak untuk dikonsumsi," ucapnya.

Witatiathi mengungkapkan, untuk menghasilkan arak agar memiliki kualtas itu, maka para perajin harus memperharikan alat yang dipergunakan untuk membuat arak tersebut. Mulai dari kebersihan yang membuat arak, dan lingkungan sekitar agar tidak terkontaminasi.
