Warga Talibeng Bersihkan Material Longsor

Warga Banjar Talibeng, Desa Talibeng, Kecamatan Sidemen, Karangasem membersihkan material longsor yang menutup akses jalan di Banjar Talibeng, Kamis (13/1).

Pembersihan material longsor dari Bukit Boan melibatkan BPBD Karangasem, anggota Polsek Sidemen, dan anggota Koramil Sidemen. Warga bergotong royong bersihkan material longsor menggunakan sekop dan cangkul.

Kegiatan dipimpin Perbekel Desa Talibeng I Ketut Mudiasa dan Kabid Kedaruratan dan Logistik BPBD Karangasem I Putu Eka Putra Tirtana.

Pantauan di lapangan, warga bersama TNI, Polri, dan BPBD bekerja sama mempercepat proses pekerjaan. Ada yang menggunakan sekop menyingkirkan material atau menaikkan ke gerobak tangan.

Mendorong gerobak dan membuang material lokasi yang lebih rendah. Warga khawatir terjadi longsor susulan karena struktur tanah labil. Kabid Kedaruratan dan Logistik BPBD I Putu Eka Putra Tirtana mengingatkan warga meningkatkan kewaspadaan, terutama saat melintas di lokasi longsor.

“Hati-hati melintas di lokasi longsor saat hujan turun, tidak menutup kemungkinan terjadi longsor susulan,” ungkap Eka Putra.

Terpisah, Kepala Pelaksana BPBD Karangasem Ida Bagus Ketut Arimbawa mengapresiasi semangat warga bergotong royong menangani longsor. Sehingga pekerjaan lebih cepat tertangani.

Material longsor menutup sebagian badan jalan sehingga tidak memerlukan alat berat. “Kami mengedukasi masyarakat untuk melakukan mitigasi dan penanganan secara mandiri,” kata Ida Bagus Ketut Arimbawa.
